‘Being Alone’ vs ‘Being Lonely’

Growing up, apart from a small circle of friends and family, I prefer solitude and soliloquy. Most peeps ‘scare’ the crapola out of me.
Some peeps, who don’t ‘get’ me, take the liberty of scheduling my social calendar, while some simply wave me off as a lost case.
To be fair though, some, like my hubs, are able to draw in multitudes of social butterflies. I, on the other hand, literally draw in flies, in the arthropod phylum, that is.
I am just ‘happy being alone’ and I am ‘not’ lonely. I don’t see all the fuzz about wonders of life without a moment of ‘me’ time released in slow motion.
